Meet Ryan A. Semensohn, DMD, DO

Dr. Semensohn joins our practice as an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. After his surgical training, he began his career in St Louis, where he did a one-year fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery, Sleep Apnea Surgery and TMJ surgery/reconstruction.

He then received implant training from Nuvia and Clear Choice dental implant centers. With a focus on advanced implant placement and full arch reconstructions, he will be an asset to our practice. His experience includes challenging cases involving pterygoid, trans-sinus, trans-nasal, and zygomatic implants.

Dr. Ryan Semensohn holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), all from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. This unique blend allows him to approach patient care with both clinical precision and operational insight—optimizing outcomes not just in the operating room, but across the entire patient experience.

Dr. Semensohn’s training includes a rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward Health, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in trauma management, pathology, and reconstructive surgery. His skills were further refined during a prestigious fellowship at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, where he specialized in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and orthognathic surgery. There, he performed a high volume of surgeries, including total TMJ replacements and corrective jaw procedures, using 3D imaging and surgical planning tools to ensure optimal outcomes.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Semensohn is known for his calm, thoughtful approach to patient care and his ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
